NAD+-Support Power Bowl

Supports: NAD+ production, blood sugar balance, mitochondrial energy
Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baby spinach or rocket
  • ½ cup cooked brown rice or quinoa
  • 120–150g grilled chicken breast or salmon
  • ¼  avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup roasted broccoli or cauliflower
  • 1–3 tsp olive oil
  • Lemon juice, salt & pepper

Method:

  1. Roast the vegetables:
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Toss broccoli or cauliflower with half the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 15–20 minutes until tender and lightly golden.
  2. Cook the protein:
Grill or pan-fry the chicken or salmon until fully cooked and lightly browned. Season simply with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon.
  3. Assemble the bowl:
Place spinach or rocket in a bowl. Add the cooked brown rice or quinoa, roasted vegetables, sliced avocado, and protein.
  4. Finish & serve:
Drizzle with remaining olive oil and extra lemon juice. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Why it works:
This bowl combines niacin-rich protein, fibre for gut health, healthy fats for cellular membranes, and antioxidants to reduce oxidative stress – all essential for mitochondrial support.
